Buffalo --- Pioneer rancher Edwards, greeting a Great Northern Railway surveyor who rode his horse up to the Edward?s sheep band, told the surveyor he was on Buffalo Creek. The surveyor said, ?there is going to be a town here, and its name will be Buffalo.? He was right.
